Verisec AB and Telia have signed a framework agreement that allows for all Telia Group companies to use the e-identification service Freja eID in various offerings.
Freja eID+ is approved for the official quality seal “Swedish e-identification”. Freja eID can be used for identification and signing online, for physical identification and for identification between private individuals. Freja eID can also be used as e-service identification, where the role-based identity is separated from the personal e-identification.
The first planned area of use for Freja eID within Telia is to authenticate customers via Telia ACE for telephony and digital channels. An adapter for easy integration is now under development.
